A liquid lift is a combination of hylaronic acid fillers and/or sculptra designed to lift the cheek area and restore volume to the smile lines and perioral area to correct age-related volume loss and enhance contour. It is a great option for patients who are not ready for a facelift, but need a pick me up.
WHEN TO COnSIDER
Why undergo a liquid lift? For most patients, the treatment is performed to add volume to the cheek area by giving a subtle non-surgical lift. With age, the curve of your cheek starts to flatten and the cheeks begin to sag. once injected, the cheek have a more rounded youthful appearance that follows a nice curve along the profile.
HOW the INJECTIONs WORKS
if dr. petro recommends a liquid lift, she will provide detailed information about the treatment, including details on the product(s), its uses, possible side effects, expected results, duration, and more.
Before the injection, Dr. Petro will identifies areas for wrinkle correction and volume enhancement and then cleans them with antiseptic. Numbing cream can be applied first, but may not be necessary.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER liquid lift injections
It works instantly to add volume and subtly lift the cheek area, temporarily reversing this sign of aging. You’ll notice the results right away, and the area may even feel puffy for a short time. Minor swelling is normal and can be managed with ice if necessary. During the first 24 hours after the treatment, you should avoid rigorous exercise, sun exposure, heat exposure and alcohol consumption, which may cause unwanted side effects.
